<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which suppresses generation of interference light. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device has substrates arranged opposite to each other via liquid crystal, pixel electrodes which reflect external light made incident via the other substrate provided in the respective pixel areas on the liquid crystal side of one of the substrate, projected parts are scattered and formed on the surface of the pixel electrode, there are two or more kinds of projected parts with different shapes when the pixel electrodes are superficially observed, the projected parts formed on the surfaces of the pixel electrodes are formed by island-like multilayer material layers positioned on the lower layer sides of the pixel electrodes and the projected parts in which the number of layers of the island-like multilayer material layers is different from each other exist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
