PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide plate in which, slimming of a keypad module is possible, the small number of light sources are used practically, light of high luminance and moreover, light of uniformity like a plane light source can be provided, and a spot lighting to a desired part is made possible. SOLUTION: A light guide plate for a keypad backlight is placed behind a keypad on which numbers and characters are printed and supplies the keypad with light emitted from a light source on a side face. While the plate is made of polycarbonate, an uneven pattern is formed, in a condition that a density may be so increased as it keeps away from the light source so that light emitted from a light source is reflected to a rear surface and supplied uniformly to a keypad, by one of processing methods out of a hot stamping or an injection molding or a microblast.
