PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recorder capable of preventing information from being impossible to be reproduced from an optical disk due to a failure in the write of the information to the optical disk in the optical disk device for recording the information by an additional recording system based on a UDF. SOLUTION: When the write of an information block constituting a user information file and a control information file is a failure (NO in #2), the information block is written again (#5). When the write of all the information constituting the user information file and the control information file is ended, that is when the write of the information block constituting the user information file and the control information file is a success (YES in #3), an FE, a VAT and a VATICB which are file management information are written (#6). When the write of the FE, the VAT and the VATICB is a failure (NO in #7), the FE, the VAT and the VATICB are written again (#8).
