PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous girder using a precast main-girder segment, which can reduce the degree of the bending stress of the girder and which can reduce prestressing steel for the girder itself or the amount of reinforcing steel, and an erection method of the continuous girder. SOLUTION: When girder blocks 7 among bridge piers, in which all of a plurality of precast main-girder segments 6 are prestressed and integrated together, are connected together on the bridge piers and continuously integrated together, an intermediate section of the girder block 7, which is erected between the bridge piers, is jacked up. After that, concrete 8 for a connecting section is placed/hardened to construct the continuous girder 11; the continuous girder 11 is prestressed; and a floor slab 15 is laid in the intermediate section between the bridge piers 1 and integrated. Subsequently, the intermediate section of the continuous girder 11 between the bridge piers 1 is jacked down. Thus, the self-weight of the girder block 7 and a cross-sectional force generated by a floor slab load are resisted by a cross section where the segments 6 and the floor slab 15 are combined together, so that the continuous girder, which reduces the degree of the bending stress of the segment 6, can be constituted.
