PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data management server, a data management method and a program, capable of setting an access right according to contents of image data. SOLUTION: This data management server 3 has: a storage data storing means 20 storing storage data comprising the image data handled by an image forming device connected to the data management server 3 and log data related to the image data; a text data extraction means 14 extracting text data from the image data; a keyword retrieval means 15 performing retrieval by a prescribed keyword to the text data extracted by the text data extraction means 14; and an access right setting means 16 setting the access right to the image data of the storage data on the basis of a retrieval result of the keyword retrieval means 15.
