PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine capable of preventing a gap formed on a side face inside a storage chamber on the hinge side of a horizontal turning door from becoming an air path, thereby reducing heat loss and improving heat exchange efficiency with articles. SOLUTION: The automatic vending machine is provided with: the horizontal turning door on the front surface; and a plurality of storage chambers 5a, 5b and 5c capable of controlling respective temperatures independently on the left and right inside a container. Also, inside each storage chamber, a article housing rack which can be pulled out to the front, houses the article in a vertical direction and successively transfers it in a lower direction, a conveyor for carrying away the article dropped from the article housing rack to the outside of the container, and a fan, a heater and an evaporator for heating and cooling the inside of the storage chamber, are installed. Also, in the gap G2 between the side face heat insulator 3d of the storage chamber 5a positioned on the hinge side of the horizontal turning door and the article housing rack, an auxiliary heat insulator 20 is installed.
