PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage the number or use circumstances of clients to be connected by an integrated management device by packaging a client function(OS and application) cooperatively operating with a server group and an integrated management device into portable media. SOLUTION: In a managed network system constituted of a server group 2, access gate ways 3 and 6, an integrated management device 1 for managing them and a CD-bootable managed client 5 designed so as to be operated cooperatively with the integrated management device 1, when the managed client 5 is started by CD boot, the managed client 5 transmits a start notification message to the integral management device 1 to notify the integral management device 1 that it has been started.
