PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temple which can be replaced with a tip although a temple fitted to each of both sides of a front part of a spectacle frame comprises a primary temple body and an engagement temple having a pad coupled to its tip to engage with the external auditory pore. SOLUTION: The temple main body 8 has a polygonally-sectioned hole 13 along its longitudinal direction and also has a screw hole 14 atop, the engagement temple 10 is fitted with the pad 11 at a stop part 17 atop of a mandrel and provided with a polygonally-sectioned metallic rotation stopper 22 at the other end; and a sleeve 18 having a slit groove 21 formed partially is fitted onto the mandrel 16 and a nut 19 is screwed onto a screw part 20 provided on the outer periphery of the sleeve. The mandrel 16 is inserted into the hole 13 of the temple main body 8, the screw part 23 of the sleeve 18 is screwed into the screw hole 14 of the tip of the temple main body to be coupled, and the mandrel 16 is adjusted to a proper length to fasten the nut 19.
