PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object geometry inspecting device capable of inspecting accurately the shape of an object to be measured (for example, glass for automobile or its inspecting frame material). SOLUTION: The object geometry inspecting device 60 is to acquire the position information at least concerning the plumb direction for two or more measuring points on the object to be measured using a measuring means embodied on the contact system or non-contact system, wherein each of the measuring positions mating with the measuring points on the object is furnished with a guide mechanism 66 to guide the measuring means and a data processing device 80 to correct the measuring data of the measuring means 62b on the basis of the in-advance acquired information concerning the moving locus relative to the water surface of the measuring means and prepare the position information in the plumb direction of each measuring point.
