PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that plants important for human often cause evil influence such as troubles of traffic, growth of sanitary insect pests, etc., on occasion, consequently, country, prefecture, city, town or village and company have to spend much budget for felling trees and branches and removing weeds every year, aged persons and women are forced to work for severe weeding operation while being exposed to a harmful ultraviolet light. SOLUTION: The plant growth regulating coating is developed. A coating having such a function has not existed yet. Branches do not grow from parts coated with the coating. The growth directions of branches can be determined. In weeding, sand, timber chip or other solid matters are sprayed with, immersed in or coated with the coating, the coated material is laid on a place inconvenient for grass growing to prevent grass from growing.
