PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a toner that has a sharp particle size distribution with ease and without waste, in a continuous emulsification method for producing emulsified particles, by keeping the particle size always stable through a long enduring emulsification process, and that, as a result, has a good development property and can make an image of high quality for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The method for producing a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image via a process of removing a solvent from an emulsified dispersion, that is prepared by emulsifying/dispersing an oil phase comprised at least of a coloring material, a binder resin, and a solvent, in an aqueous medium, comprises obtaining the emulsified dispersion by an emulsifying method of feeding the oil phase and the aqueous medium continuously into an emulsifier, and controlling fluctuation of an internal pressure P of the emulsifier within a range of±10 kPa during the continuous emulsification.
