PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a proper correction is not realized unless temperature of a drive roller is correctly measured even if a rotation amount of the drive roller is corrected by detecting the temperature. SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is provided with: a conveyor belt 31 looped between the conveyor roller 32 and a driven roller 33; the conveyor roller 32 which is formed of an aluminum three-arrow-shaped hollow pipe 32A coated with a rubber layer 32B on its periphery surface; a guide member 35 for guiding the conveyor belt 31, which has a mesh structure on the side contacting the belt 31; and a temperature sensor 234 consisting of a thermistor or the like for detecting the temperature of the conveyor roller 32, arranged in the guide member 35.
