PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presser bar holding structure of a sewing machine capable of excellently adjusting the position of the pressing part of a presser bar. SOLUTION: This structure is provided with a needle bar 21, the presser bar 100 capable of holding the pressing part 120 which presses an object to be sewn on a needle plate 200, and a holder part 10m attached to the machine body of the sewing machine for holding the presser bar 100. The holder part 10m comprises a swing support part 300 for holding the intermediate part in the length direction of the presser bar 100 so as to swing the upper end part 100u and the lower end part 100d in the length direction of the presser bar 100, and a fixing part 400 for fixing the swung presser bar 100 to the holder part 10m at the swung position.
