PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing and drying machine where noise is reduced by suppressing increase of vibration of a water tank during washing operation. SOLUTION: G1 being the position of the centroid of a heat exchanger 32, a heat exchanger 33 for dehumidifying and a blower 31 is arranged to be on a plumb line passing through the center axis of the water tank 3. In the state, products of the centroid of respective apparatuses and a distance from the C.L. to the positions of the respective centroids are equal on the right and left sides. Thus, even in occurrence of centroid movement occurring in a dehydration process etc. , movement of the centroid to the right and left is symmetrical with the C.L. as the center, so that the centroid is not concentrated to one of the right or the left. Thus, even in occurrence of abnormal vibration, this vibration never becomes loud unnecessarily, so that occurrence of the noise is made small. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
