The system has an energy manager (1) with a calculating unit (2), and a memory (3) connected with the manager. A number of vehicle electrical systems such as energy source (4), energy storage (5) and energy consumers (6-8) are provided, where the source and the storage are assigned to different operating conditions. The operating conditions are represented by a summation of real energy source and a set of virtual energy consumers. The calculating unit adds data stored in the memory and compares with a threshold value.
