HYDROGEN PRODUCTION SYSTEM AND POWER GENERATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production system which can efficiently produce hydrogen capable of being used in a fuel cell with compact equipment.

SOLUTION: The hydrogen production system is constituted of (1) a hydrogen production apparatus for generating hydrogen from raw material oil comprising hydrocarbons mainly having cyclohexane rings by dehydrogenating the cyclohexane rings to form aromatic rings and (2) a hydrogen purification apparatus for converting aromatic hydrocarbons remaining in hydrogen into saturated hydrocarbons by the hydrogenation and/or hydrocracking after separating the aromatic hydrocarbons from the hydrogen-containing product produced by the hydrogen production apparatus.
