<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and a method for permitting idle-stop in fuel cell system, which control an exhaust fuel concentration to a predetermined value or less. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell system S comprises a fuel cell 1 which generates power with a fuel gas and an oxidant gas supplied; a purge valve 22a which purges the fuel gas exhausted from the fuel cell 1; a dilutor 4 which mixes the purged fuel gas and the oxidant gas, and exhausts them into the atmosphere; and an ECU 5 which stops supplying the oxidant gas to the fuel cell 1, carries out the idle stop, and decides whether to permit the idle stop according to a concentration of the fuel gas in the dilutor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
