<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital communication apparatus with a structure whereby software having been developed so far can be utilized without any modification and sophisticated functions such as a digital broadcast reception function can be attached/extended by having only to add hardware and software with respect to added/extended functions in the case of developing a communication apparatus of a new model. <P>SOLUTION: The storage means of the digital communication apparatus disclosed herein stores a first OS for processing internal interface and a second OS for processing external interface, when an adding/extension function attaching means is added to the digital communication apparatus, a communication path for attaching an adding/extension function is ensured on the basis of cooperation between the second OS and first OS, communication path control software is customized, software for operation/display control and event processing control is customized, and the pertinent processing control storage section of the storage section is updated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
