<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scattering of toner to contaminate the inside of an image forming apparatus when a toner hopper which replenishes the toner to a developing device used for an electrophotographic system image forming apparatus or the developing device itself is exchanged. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 1 including a developing tank 2 and a toner conveyance pipe 3 which supplies the toner to the developing tank 2 is provided with a shutter member which is stored in a bottom part 12 of the toner conveyance pipe 3, opens and closes a toner supply port of the toner conveyance pipe 3, an axial object 30 which moves the shutter member forward and backward in the direction of an arrow 50, a second spring member 33 provided so that the axial object 30 is inserted into it and a toner supply port opening/closing means including a first spring member 26 which supports the axial object 30 attachably/detachably to the shutter member 20 by its extension and contraction and a lever member 25 which extends and contracts the first spring member 26 by its opening/closing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
