<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for vehicle which can form an improved beam for an expressway. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device includes a plurality of first optical modules M1 having at least one light source S1 each, and a second optical module M2. The first optical module M1 has a function of emitting a first beam F1 of a low beam which has an inclined cutoff, while the second optical module M2 can emit a second beam F2 having a cutoff, part of which is flat. The first optical module M1 offsets a beam emitting in one direction, and a beam emitted from the second optical module M2 and the above offset beam are lapped to emit a beam for an expressway. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
