<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which holds an information storage medium in a recording material, in response to post-processing and various image recording patterns, without being affected by the post-processing and the image recording pattern. <P>SOLUTION: An equipment control section 9 authorizes: an image recording area 53 on which an image is recorded from inputted recording conditions; and a post-processing area 54 into which a staple 51 is driven so as to decide the holding position of an IC tag 40 with respect to a recording material 22.
