PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor supporting structure which can smooth the rotation of the output shaft of a motor without elevating its processing accuracy. SOLUTION: In this mirror device for a vehicle, when the body 20 of a case is being rotated, the reaction from the second helical gear 48 of a twin gear 46 works (refer to an arrow P1 in Fig.6(A)) on the first worm gear 34 (output shaft 26 of a motor 22), and a radial load works on the output shaft 26 and the bearings 42, 28 and 30 bearing the output shaft 26. In this case, in this mirror device for vehicle, the displacement of the bearing 42 is allowed by a spring 44 elastically transforming (as is shown in Fig.6(B), the displacement on the tip side of the output shaft 26 is allowed), and the radial load working on the output shaft 26 is absorbed. Accordingly, it can smooth the rotation of the output shaft 26 of the motor 22 without elevating its processing accuracy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
