PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectional imaging apparatus which can perform high-speed processing of an image processing technology, without making a configuration as the omnidirectional imaging apparatus complex. SOLUTION: The omnidirectional imaging apparatus is provided with an omnidirectional sensor 1, which obtains an annular image by a wide-angle lens, an image processing device 2 which converts the annular image 5 obtained by the omnidirectional sensor 1 into a panorama development image 8 or an enlarged image 9, and a display device 3 for displaying respective images 5, 8, 9. The image processing device 2 extracts center coordinates (xn, yn) in the annular image 5, when the annular image 5 is converted into the panorama development image 8, or when into the enlarged image 9 by pattern matching processing.
