PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client/server system that is not susceptible to the effects of network state and can ensure immediate responsiveness of a UI display. SOLUTION: The client/server system includes a server apparatus 12 and a client apparatus 14 connected to the server apparatus 12 via a network 13, and the server apparatus 12 groups language data, according to each characteristic and determines the distribution order of each of the language data groups depending on the characteristics of each group. The client apparatus 14 translates words on a UI menu and displays translated words, on the basis of the language data distributed by each group from the server apparatus 12.
