PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid container which can maintain a stable connection state by highly precise positioning, by suppressing displacement and deformation by firm fixation by means of two positioning engagement parts even when a torsional load acts. SOLUTION: The two positioning engagement parts 13 and 14 which position a container body 3 of the ink cartridge (liquid container) 1 by engagement with positioning pins 11 set at two points in a cartridge holder 110 are disposed at both edges in a longitudinal direction of a container front face 3a of the container body 3. Moreover, an ink outlet 17 which connects an ink feeding needle 15 of the cartridge holder 110 with an ink storage chamber, a pressurized air introduction part 21 which connects a pressurized air feeding passage 19 of the cartridge holder 110 with a pressurization chamber, and a data storage means 25 connected to a connecting terminal 23 of the cartridge holder 110 are set between the two positioning engagement parts 13 and 14.
