<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for taking up an optical film raw material in a stable state at a higher speed than before without causing taking-up failure such as the occurrence of wrinkles or the surface damage of an optical film when the optical film raw material is taken up in a roll form. <P>SOLUTION: In a process wherein an optical layer 3 and the protective film 4 for protecting the optical layer 3 are successively provided on one side of a base film 2 while a release film 6 is subsequently provided on the other side of the base film 2 through a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 to form the optical film 1 and this optical film 1 is taken up in the roll form, the release film 6 is formed so as to escape unevenness of the air involved when the optical film raw material is taken up on the surface on the side opposite to the contact surface with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 and the surface unevenness of the release film 6 is absorbed by the protective film 4 interposed between the optical layer 3 and the release film 6 so that surface unevenness of the release film 6 is not transferred to the surface of the optical layer 3 when the optical film raw material is taken up in the roll form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
