PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a mobile body advances on an irregular ground or the like after earthquake disaster, it is easily caught by a rubble or an electric wire to build up an obstacle to movement, making it unable to travel. SOLUTION: The connection mechanism connects two vehicle bodies forward/rearward capable of propelling by an endless track or the like. A vertically pivotable horizontal plate bonded through a hinge rotated around a horizontal axis is connected from a lower part of the vehicle body at the front side and a horizontal plate-like elastic body is connected from a lower part of the vehicle body at a rear side. The horizontal plates from the front and rear joints are connected so as to be swung by a turnable rotation shaft around a vertical axis to left and right sides. A pair of left and right expansion/contraction rods connected through the front and rear joints and a bending joint is installed on an upper part between the front and rear vehicle bodies and the expansion/contraction rods constitute a bending drive system enabling their lengths to be separately expansion/contraction-controlled, respectively.
