PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectifying device for a small motor, which can be used in a stable condition when used for the purpose of discontinuous operation in a low voltage and low speed rotation in particular, by stably maintaining the contact resistance between a commutator and a brush even after long-term use to prevent an excess rise in a motor-starting voltage. SOLUTION: The rectifying device for a small motor is constituted of a commutator fixed to a motor rotating shaft and a pair of brushes in sliding contact with the commutator. The material constituting any sliding portion of the commutator or the brush is formed by dispersing tungsten carbide (WC) particles in a silver (Ag) matrix. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
