PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellular phone provided with a crime prevention function for immediately sounding and maintaining of sounding when a switch of a crime prevention buzzer is made to be on even when the cellular phone is performing a process of turning off of a power source. SOLUTION: The cellular phone for sounding the crime prevention buzzer using a built-in sound source IC is designed to write score data for the crime prevention buzzer when remaining quantity of the score data for the crime prevention buzzer in a FIFO buffer within the sound source IC becomes less than a threshold value, and to store the score data into the memory while performing a process for making the power source of the self machine to be off regardless of the remaining quantity of the data in the FIFO buffer.
