PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of corresponding to a metamerism problem. SOLUTION: A color correction constant number in a first image data converting means 112 is changed-over in response to the kind of an original set by using an operation panel 300. Accordingly, the original which is the same when a person views it is corrected to image data of a first color space system being the common color space of the same color, so as to perform correspondence to the metamerism problem. When the image data of the first color space system stored in a storage 118 are re-used with a plurality of applications or used by transferring to another device, the image data of the first color space system stored in the storage 118 are re-used without performing correction in consideration of the original by a second image data converting means 120.
