PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to perform an effective demonstration focusing on a function to be used, and to enable a store to perform demonstration to a situation and a request at different times. SOLUTION: On a screen of setting a demonstration mode, the user is allowed to select whether the demonstration mode is made effective. When the user selects that the demonstration mode is made effective, the user selects which function should be demonstrated. When the user selects only a terrestrial digital broadcasting function and a photography function (function for displaying a still image photographed by a digital camera for recording on a memory card), the type of a channel or a program as the terrestrial digital broadcasting is introduced on one demonstration mode execution screen 93 in the demonstration mode after setting, and the type of a photography (still image) is introduced on other demonstration mode execution screens.
