PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance stability of a ground potential of automobiles, electric products (components) and so on, and to thereby improve various performance capabilities thereof. SOLUTION: A negative ion generating material (e.g., tourmaline ore powder) is applied to, or brought into intimate contact with or blended into a part of an automobile, an electric product (component) and so on that is to be at a ground potential during use. This makes it possible, for automobiles, to achieve improvements in power (engine, motor) performance, fuel consumption performance, battery performance, sound quality of audiovisual products and quietness, and to achieve a smoother suspension performance. For electric products, a reduction in noise, improvements in various performance capabilities, a reduction in consumption of electricity and so on can be achieved.
