PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse thrust device including a latch mechanism and a method for manufacturing such a reverse thrust device. SOLUTION: In an aircraft system following one embodiment, the reverse thrust device including a first inner panel and a second inner panel in an opposite side of the first inner panel is included. The first inner panel and the second inner panel include an inner surface and an upper part. A system includes catches projecting out of the inner surface and the upper part of the first inner panel to an inside and latches projecting out of the inner surface and the upper part of the second inner panel to an inside. The latches are positioned to be selectively engaged with the catches and inhibit relative motion between the first inner panel and the second inner panel. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
