PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket placed in a vertical joint formed between outer panels of the building exterior wall, so as to solve such problems that rain water entering and sneaking through a front-side lip into the gasket flows down between the front-side lip and the intermediate lip, is held back by a sealing material filled in a lateral joint and collected for causing the outer panels to corrode while leaking through the gasket end and the sealing member into the inside of the room. SOLUTION: On the front side lip 7 at a predetermined height from a lower end face of the gasket 11, a slit 12 is cut in a direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the gasket 3 from the tip end of the lip toward a column 6, so that the rain water collected on the sealing material 5 is exuded from the slit 12 and discharged to the outside.
