PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for inner coating of a can and to provide a metal plate for a can inner coated with the same, having processability and deterioration resistance with the passage of time. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the resin composition comprising a copolyester resin (A) obtained by polymerization using a polymerization catalyst containing an aluminum compound, and comprising 75-100 mol% of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid as the acid components, 30-100 mol% of at least one of polyalcohol components represented by formula (1) and/or a 1, 4-cyclohexanedimethanol, and (B) a crosslinking agent.
