摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a liquid crystal device and a manufacturing apparatus for the liquid crystal device that can shorten the time needed for isotropic processing and achieve stable liquid crystal alignment. SOLUTION: Liquid crystal 6 is heated while a panel holding member 54 is brought into contact with a strip shaped liquid crystal panel, and also cooled while the panel holding member 54 is brought into contact with the strip shaped liquid crystal panel to conduct heat more directly between a heating plate 55 and a cooling plate 58, and the liquid crystal as compared with a case wherein a hot blast and a cold blast are blown to the liquid crystal panel. Consequently, heat conductivity between the liquid crystal, and heating plate 55 and cooling plate 58 is improved to shorten the time needed to heat/cool the liquid crystal. The heat conductivity between the heat plate 55 and cooling plate 58, and the liquid crystal is thus improved and then the liquid crystal can be given a large temperature difference when heated and cooled to stabilize the liquid crystal alignment.
