PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stapler with a staple-out warning function, thereby informing the need of supplementing staples before the number of staples amounts to less than an optional number. SOLUTION: In this stapler, at least a staple magazine 20 and a handle 30 are rotatably journaled to the rear end of a base 10. The front end face of a pusher 25 for push-feeding a stable 21 is provided with a projecting piece 27, and a driver 31 for striking the staple 21 is provided with a cutout 32 formed in a position opposite to the projecting piece 27 in the condition where the driver 31 most approaches a driving outlet 22. Further, both side surfaces of the pusher 25 are provided with operating levers 28 for moving the pusher 25 from outside even in the condition where the base 10, the staple magazine 20, and the handle 30 are closed.
