<p>The invention relates to a wind generator comprising a tower (1) and a plurality of vertical blades (4) which rotate about the tower (1) and which rotate about themselves on a shaft (5) such that they are positioned opposing the direction of the wind (6) during the angular movement which drives the rotation of the blades (4) around the tower (1) and such that they are positioned parallel to the direction of the wind (6) during the remainder of the rotation, thereby reducing the drag of the blades as they move from the position in which they are parallel to the direction of the wind to the position in which they oppose same. The blades (4) comprise means (11-13) for suppressing the blade surface as the blade moves from the parallel position to the opposing position, thereby minimising the drag produced by the blade during the position change. The invention can be used to obtain maximum efficiency both with gentle breezes and strong winds.</p> |
