<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag-making and packaging machine capable of adjusting a thickness of a bag without uselessly complicating a structure of the packaging machine. <P>SOLUTION: A tubular packaging material Fa is laterally sealed in a widthwise direction to form a bag by making seal jaws 23 and 23 contact each other after keeping a predetermined distance W in the course of moving the jaws in a transferring direction of the packaging material. In this case there is attached to each jaw 23 a thickness adjusting member 58 which adjusts the thickness of the bag made by clamping the bag while keeping a predetermined position relation to the seal jaw 23 with the predetermined distance W kept, the predetermined distance W between the jaws 23 and 23 being adjustable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
