摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method for a liquid droplet ejection recording head which secures the wide range of adjusting the quantity of the liquid droplet and enables the proper expression of the gradation of an intermediate density section, and a liquid droplet ejection recording apparatus. SOLUTION: When a pixel of the intermediate density section is recorded, a nonjet pulse P1 with a pulse width in a range of≥Ts and≤Tc/4 is applied to a piezoelectric element 42; and a jet pulse P2 with a pulse width almost in a range of≥Ts and≤Tc/2 is applied after an interval INT1 which is preset in a range of≥Ts and≤Tc depending on the density of the pixel. In this case, Tc represents a period of natural oscillation, generated by an oscillating wave, of liquid stored in a storage chamber, and Ts represents a time when a voltage applied to the piezoelectric element by the application of a pulse voltage is reversed between two values.
