PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet stacking device capable of efficiently reducing a temperature of the sheet by the minimum air stream. SOLUTION: The stacking tray 18 is liftably supported relative to a box body structure 505 and a motor fan 63 blows air toward the sheets in such a state that they are loaded on the stacking tray 18. A control part 502 lifts the stacking tray 18 according to the output state of a fan switch 61 and maintains a position relationship of the sheet of the loaded uppermost position and the motor fan 63 to an approximately constant level from the first loaded sheet to the final one sheet even in any high stacking.
