PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire damper capable of reducing an installation space of a heat-sensitive member, and simplifying maintenance work such as replacement of the heat-sensitive member with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This fire damper 10 comprises a square pole-shaped main body casing 1, blades 3 respectively rotatable pivoted to a plurality of spindles 2 mounted in the main body casing 1, a connecting member for making the plurality of blades 3 interlock with each other, an opening adjusting mechanism 5 for opening and closing the blades 3 and setting their openings, a spring and a drive shaft as an elastic mechanism for energizing the blades 3 in the closing direction, and an opening/closing inspection hole formed on the main body casing 1 in adjacent to the opening adjusting mechanism 5. A heat-sensitive meltdown member 12 retaining the energizing force of the spring, and partially melted at a set temperature to release the retaining, is mounted on a position faced to the inspection hole in the main body casing 1.
