PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof board fitting for use in fixing a roof board onto a lower roof, obtaining a strong fixed state causing no swinging when fixed to the lower roof. SOLUTION: The roof board fitting 13 has a lateral pair of clamping metal fittings 32, 33 formed of metal plates to be clamp-fixed to a backing material 12, wherein a clamping part 41 for clamping the backing material 12 in at least one of the clamping metal fittings 32, 33 is provided with a pressure contact surface 41a brought into pressure contact with the backing material at the curved surface or plane of the metal plate forming the clamping part 41, and a pressure contact edge 41b brought into pressure contact to locally bite into the backing material at the end face part of the metal plate.
