PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radius cutter, restraining abrasion of a cutting blade in a tool tip. SOLUTION: This radius cutter, especially a ball cutter 2 or an annular cutter is (a) provided on a cutting surface 3 of the cutter 2, and it includes at least one working area 4 rotatable or rotating with respect to the longitudinal axis A of a tool as an inertia main shaft of the tool 2, and the working area is provided with cutting blades 5, 5a, 5b. (b) The respective cutting blades 5, 5a, 5b have the back part 11 of the cutting blade at the trailing edge in the work rotating direction D, and (c) the longitudinal axis A of the tool passes the back part 11a of at least one cutting blade 5a, especially the cutting blade 5a, and the back parts of these cutting blades are specified as a first back part 11a of the cutting blade.
