PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the recognition of touches with hands or the like especially on an image display device concerning a game machine and a slot machine using the same. SOLUTION: A mounting frame (130) is provided around the front of the image display device (50). A plurality of optical sensors (e.g. infrared sensors 140 and 141) is so arranged on an internal surface of the mounting frame (130) as to make radiated rays cross each other. Reflection surfaces (150) for reflecting the rays radiated from the respective optical sensors (140 and 141) are arrayed on another internal surface facing the internal surface with the optical sensors (140 and 141) fixed on it. A game controller (200) is provided with a multipoint recognition means (420) for recognizing coordinates of a matter intercepting the rays using the triangular survey based on sensor signals from the respective optical sensors (140 and 141) and an image changing means (440) for altering the display contents of the images shown on the image display device (50) using the positional information recognized by the multipoint recognition means (420).
