PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health promotion device superior in a hygiene aspect while exerting the effect of the health promotion. SOLUTION: A bathing device 1, or the health promotion device, is provided with bathtubs 11 and 12 storing bath liquid including a solid containing inorganic germanium and covered with a thin film or a solid containing the inorganic germanium, and a light emitting part 13 emitting a light with a wavelength of 300 nm-2μm to the bath liquid stored in the bathtubs 11 and 12. When this health promotion device has a constitution having a contact part fixed with inorganic germanium particles on the surface or a contact part containing the inorganic germanium instead of the bath liquid storage part, this device is provided with a shower roller provided in a shower or brush bristles provided in a brush as the contact part.
