PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled head-feeding combine harvester, wherein load of a worker is alleviated when performing engine maintenance work. SOLUTION: An engine room 14 is formed under a driving seat 9, wherein the upper surface of the engine room 14 is covered with a seat column 8 on which a driving seat 9 is attached, and the side surfaces are covered with a side cover 13. A handle 11 is set in front of the driving seat 9. The side cover 13 can be fallen outside and rotated centering around the lower end thereof and the seat column 8 can be rotated frontward centering around the front lower end thereof. As the side cover 13 and the seat column 8 can be opened and closed with light force, so load of the worker is alleviated and as the driving seat 9 causes no disturbance so maintenance work is easily performed.
