A drain trap easily opened and closed in an apartment house is provided to open and close a drain passage by turning an opening knob, and to prevent counter flow of sewage by filtering foreign matters and removing stink. A drain trap includes an upper case(10) installed on a drain pipe(2), a lower case(20) thread-connected to the upper case, connected to the drain pipe and mounted in a floor, a cylindrical inner case placed in the lower case and attached to an annular active carbon mat, an upper cap(40) arranged in an upper center of the upper case and provided with plural drain holes(41), an opening knob(50) turning right and left by inserting a vertical bar through a penetration hole of the upper cap to the drain trap, and an opening unit inserted to a central drain pipe and turned in rotating the opening knob by thread-connecting a nut groove with a bolt part. Stink is removed in the drain trap by mounting the active carbon mat in the inner case, and foreign matters are filtered by mounting a filter in a lower part of the opening unit.
