A grooving machine for forming a displacement restricting groove on a road is provided to increase working efficiency, and to reduce working hours by easily and intermittently forming the grooves with automatically lifting up and down a rotating drum in driving. A grooving machine(100) includes a body(20) having a power unit, a steering unit(30) having a front wheel formed in the lower front of the body to change direction and a steering wheel, a rotating drum(40) installed in a rear part of the body and composed of plural cutter blades(42) for forming grooves on a road, a lifting unit(50) vertically lifting up and down the rotating drum, and a rear wheel(110) supporting the rotating drum. Plural projections(120) are formed in an outer periphery of the rear wheel to support the rotating drum. The length and the interval of the grooves are adjusted by regulating the number and the arc length of the projections.
