<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device capable of securely recovering liquid removed from on a conveyance means by a cleaning device and preventing reduction of cleaning performance of the cleaning device. <P>SOLUTION: This liquid droplet discharge device 10 is provided with a conveyance belt 30 stretched over at least two rollers 26, 28 to hold and convey a recording medium P, a liquid droplet discharge head 20 for discharging liquid on the recording medium P held on the conveyance belt 30, and the cleaning device 40 for removing at least the liquid adhered to the conveyance belt 30. The cleaning device 40 has a blade 42 having length corresponding to width of the conveyance belt 30 and coming into pressure-contact with the conveyance belt 30, an evacuation means 45 for evacuating the blade 42 from the conveyance belt 30, and a cleaning means 48 for cleaning the blade 42 evacuated by the evacuation means 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
